Baku Crystal Hall

Built on National Flag Square to host the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Baku Crystal Hall has since become the city’s premier venue for world-class entertainment and international sporting events. This multifunctional complex continues to welcome global stars and major competitions, cementing its reputation as one of the region’s most versatile event spaces.

The venue was brought to life through collaboration with leading European design firms—Germany’s GMP Architekten handled the overall concept, while Switzerland’s Nussli International AG designed the stadium infrastructure. Spanning 30,958 square meters, the complex features a symmetrical layout with corridors along Sectors A and B, each offering 15 entrance points for seamless crowd flow.

With capacity exceeding 23,000 guests, Crystal Hall delivers an impressive experience enhanced by cutting-edge dynamic lighting systems installed throughout the interior and across the exterior facade. These installations enable creative visual effects tailored to each event’s unique atmosphere.

Conference & Event Facilities

The venue houses an extensive press center divided into two primary zones:

Conference Hall – This 800-square-meter space accommodates up to 500 attendees and serves as the go-to location for press conferences related to concerts, sports tournaments, and major public events.

Main Hall – At 4,100 square meters, this versatile area includes a café capable of serving over 100 guests simultaneously. It’s perfectly suited for banquets, receptions, intimate concerts (up to 2,000 attendees), corporate gatherings, and both intellectual and sporting occasions.
