Baku Convention Center
The Baku Convention Center, located next to the iconic Heydar Aliyev Center, began construction in February 2014 and has since become one of the city’s most prominent venues for large-scale events. Covering a total area of 6.2 hectares, with a building footprint of 46,600 square meters, the complex is surrounded by thoughtfully landscaped grounds that enhance its modern architectural appeal.
Designed to meet the highest international standards, the center offers a fully integrated infrastructure for hosting a wide range of events. One of its standout features is an impressive 405-square-meter indoor screen — the largest multi-pixel display of its kind installed within an enclosed space. In total, the venue is equipped with more than 50 screens of varying sizes, ensuring seamless visual communication throughout.
The Baku Convention Center includes 17 versatile conference halls with a combined capacity of over 2,500 guests. Each space is adaptable, allowing configurations to be tailored to the specific requirements and scale of any event. The venue also houses a restaurant, administrative offices, and a full suite of technical systems, including advanced ventilation and communication networks.
For events requiring live coverage, the center provides state-of-the-art broadcasting capabilities. Guest comfort and convenience are ensured with escalators and 16 elevators throughout the building.
At the heart of the complex is a cutting-edge auditorium with seating for up to 3,500 attendees. Equipped with world-class acoustic systems and advanced lighting technologies, the hall is designed to deliver an exceptional experience for conferences, performances, and large-scale presentations alike.
