The Museum of Miniature Books

The Museum of Miniature Books is one of the most unique museums in Baku and the only one of its kind in the world. Located in the historic Old City, it was opened in 2002 and houses an extraordinary collection of tiny books from around the globe.

The books in the museum come from dozens of countries and cover a wide range of topics, from classic literature and poetry to historical and scientific works. The collection includes more than 5,600 miniature books published in 68 countries, showcasing an incredible variety of languages, styles, and subjects. Also, among the exhibits are rare editions signed by notable figures from former CIS countries and beyond, as well as a unique set of 40 miniature artworks created by American artists and donated to the museum.

Visitors are often amazed by the precision and craftsmanship required to produce such small yet detailed publications. Despite its compact size, the museum offers a fascinating and memorable experience, making it a must-visit stop for anyone exploring Baku’s cultural attractions.
